Secure Containment Guidelines: DA-001-01 cannot be contained.

Under no circumstances should any human or animal subjects be exposed to the light, as it will result in immediate and irreversible melting of biological matter. All personnel must adhere to strict quarantine and decontamination procedures after coming into contact with the DA.

Description: DA-001-01 is a large anomaly that affects the sun approximately every 10,000 years. The anomaly cannot affect any other planet or entity and only has the ability to affect the sun. When the DA affects the sun, the sun increases drastically in temperature, and it eventually reaches one of the hottest matter in the universe. DA-001-01 emits a light that was first witnessed in a field in a REDACTED location.  

DA-001-01's light has the anomalous effect of melting all biological and organic matter it comes into contact with, including humans, animals, and plants. The melting process is slow, and pain causing. Any entities it comes into contact with it turns into DA-001-01-A, an orange humanoid entity, who tries to infect others who have not been affected yet by DA-001-01.

 DA-001-01 can cause fires and destroy habitats within a few minutes of DA-001-01’s presence. If the affected entity is lucky, they can suffer major trauma to the body which is irreversible. This is extremely rare and there is no recorded incidents of this happening.

Addendum: Up until recently, it was discovered that a rare type of Electomagnetic Radiation could temporarily neutralise the effects of DA-001-01. However, the anomaly has learnt to stop being affected by the radiation. Therefore, Electromagnetic Radiation now proves useless defending against DA-001-01.
