Secure Containment Guidelines:

DA-006 is to be contained within a climate-controlled, soundproof chamber at Site-██. DA-006, designated The Shifting Mirage, appears as a small, unremarkable glass ornament measuring approximately 15 centimetres in height. The object's form is an abstract geometric pattern—alternating segments of shifting translucent and opaque materials, with jagged edges resembling broken glass. It has no clear internal components, though closer inspection reveals subtle movements within the ornament, even when still.

The primary anomalous property of DA-006 manifests when it is within the field of vision of any living being. The object appears to constantly alter its form, transitioning between several distinct, complex visual patterns that seem to merge, split, or evolve in real time. However, any attempts to describe the exact sequence or form of the shifts result in cognitive dissonance and memory lapse. Individuals who observe DA-006 for prolonged periods report a sensation of unease, followed by a strong compulsion to look away.
