DA-006 - “The Everlasting Phone”

Secure Containment Guidelines:

DA-006 is to be stored in a standard containment locker at Site-███. Access to DA-006 requires Level 2 clearance and must be approved by at least two Level 3 personnel. Testing of DA-006 is allowed only with prior permission from Site Director.

Description:

DA-006 appears to be an ordinary mobile phone, currently resembling a Nokia 3310 model from 2000. It has no visible damage or signs of wear and tear, and its external appearance is identical to an unaltered Nokia 3310.

DA-006 is unique in that it does not require any external power source, battery, or components to function. It can operate indefinitely without any noticeable decrease in performance or functionality, despite no discernable source of energy.

When DA-006 is turned on, it displays a static screen with no visible menu or options. However, when a user inputs a phone number, DA-006 connects the call to a random individual from anywhere in the world. The phone call is fully functional, with clear audio and no connection issues.

Additionally, DA-006 can receive incoming calls, and the phone will ring audibly. However, the caller is always anonymous, and the number displayed on DA-006's screen is always "Unknown Caller."

Attempts to open DA-006's casing or modify its internal components have been unsuccessful, as DA-006 appears to be impervious to any physical manipulation or damage.

DA-006's origins are currently unknown, and its anomalous properties are still under investigation.

Addendum: Testing Log

Dr. █████ conducted several tests with DA-006 to determine the extent of its abilities. Below is a summary of the results:

Test 1: Dr. █████ dialed a random phone number in the United States. DA-006 connected to an individual in Malaysia who spoke Malay and was unfamiliar with English.

Test 2: Dr. █████ dialed the number of a Foundation agent stationed in Site-19. DA-006 connected to an individual who claimed to be a psychic medium and refused to provide a name or location.

Test 3: Dr. █████ received an incoming call from DA-████. The caller identified themselves as an O5 Council member and provided Dr. █████ with a series of instructions for the Foundation's continued operation.

Note: DA-006's ability to connect to individuals of varying nationalities and languages is noteworthy and requires further investigation.
