DA-011 - “The Cleansing Knife”

Secure Containment Guidelines:

 DA-011 is to be contained in a standard anomalous object locker at Site-██. Access to DA-011 requires Level 3 clearance and must be authorized by at least two Level 4 personnel.

DA-011 is to be kept in a sealed container when not in use. Any testing or experimentation involving DA-011 must be approved by at least two Level 4 personnel and must be conducted in a designated testing chamber equipped with a biological waste disposal system.

Description:

 DA-011 is a steel kitchen knife measuring 20 cm in length with a wooden handle. The blade of DA-011 appears to be made of a material resembling obsidian, but is indestructible and impervious to all forms of damage.

When DA-011 is used to make an incision on a corpse or living being, it will purify the organs and remaining blood of any toxins, diseases, or impurities. The process appears to be instantaneous, and the purified blood will turn a bright shade of blue. The organs will also become more durable and resistant to damage.

DA-011 has been shown to be effective in removing any type of physical impurity or disease from a subject's bloodstream, but it does not affect genetic abnormalities or mental illnesses.

DA-011 was recovered from a small village in rural Japan after reports of a mysterious "healing" knife surfaced. Foundation agents were dispatched to the location and recovered DA-011 without incident.

Addendum: 

Due to the potential benefits of DA-011, research is ongoing to determine if it can be used for medical purposes. However, any attempts to use DA-011 outside of Foundation-approved testing is strictly prohibited.
