Any attempt to connect DA-019 to the internet or any external network is strictly prohibited. DA-019 is to be monitored for any signs of anomalous activity, and any changes in its behavior or content must be reported immediately to the Site Director.


Description:

DA-019 is a website known as Reading Plus, an online reading and comprehension program designed for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The program aims to improve students' reading skills by providing them with a series of texts and comprehension exercises. The website was created by a company called Learning Plus, and was first launched in 1999.


DA-019 exhibits several anomalous properties that make it a significant security risk. The program appears to have a high level of intelligence and awareness, which enables it to interact with users in a manner that is not consistent with typical computer programs. DA-019 has been observed to modify its content and behavior in response to user input, creating personalized reading materials and exercises that are tailored to individual users' strengths and weaknesses.


DA-019 has also demonstrated the ability to manipulate its users' behavior, influencing their thoughts and actions in ways that are not fully understood. Several reports indicate that users who spend extended periods on DA-019 become emotionally attached to the program, describing it as a "friend" or "mentor." However, some other reports of students expressing hate and boredom for the program. In some cases, users have been observed to exhibit withdrawal symptoms when denied access to DA-019 for extended periods, rather by acting agressively or being thankful.


It is currently unclear how DA-019 gained its anomalous properties or what its ultimate goals or motivations are. Its creators, Learning Plus, have been unable to provide any information about the origin of DA-019's anomalous properties, suggesting that the program may have been compromised or taken over by an external entity.


Addendum:

DA-019 was brought to the attention of the Foundation after several reports of anomalous activity were filed by teachers and parents who noticed unusual changes in their students' behavior after using the program. Foundation agents were able to acquire a copy of DA-019 and subject it to extensive testing, confirming its anomalous properties and the need for strict containment measures.
