DA-020 - “The Zen Box”

Secure Containment Guidelines:
DA-020 is to be stored in a standard anomalous item locker at Site-██. Access to DA-020 requires Level 2 clearance and must be approved by at least two Level 3 personnel.

No experimentation is to be conducted on DA-020 without prior approval from the Site Director. If any unusual activity is observed, all personnel must vacate the area immediately and notify security personnel.

Description:

 DA-020 is a small metallic box, measuring 10 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm, with a hinged lid. The box is made of an unknown material that is impervious to damage, and the lid is secured by a combination lock. The combination to the lock is known only to Level 4 personnel and is to be changed every six months.

When the lid of DA-020 is opened, a small amount of light is emitted from within the box, which appears to have a calming effect on individuals within a 3-meter radius. This effect lasts for approximately 10 minutes before dissipating.

Tests have shown that DA-020 has no harmful effects on living organisms, including humans. However, prolonged exposure to the calming effect can lead to drowsiness and lethargy.

Addendum:

 Research into the origin of DA-020 is ongoing. At present, no information regarding its creation or purpose has been discovered. Further research is needed to determine the true nature of this anomalous item.
