DA-023: “The Intoxication Bottle”
Object Class: Dangerous
Secure Containment Guidelines:
DA-023 is to be contained in a reinforced anomalous object locker at Site-██. Access to DA-023 requires Level 3 clearance and must be approved by at least two Level 4 personnel. Any personnel handling DA-023 must wear full-body protective equipment, including gloves, a respirator, and a hazmat suit.
Description:
DA-023 is a glass bottle with a cork stopper, containing a red liquid identified as wine. The label on the bottle reads "La Bouteille de l'Intoxication" ("The Intoxication Bottle") and displays an image of a person with exaggeratedly dilated pupils and a wobbling gait.
When a person opens the cork stopper of DA-023 and sniffs the liquid, they immediately become intoxicated. The level of intoxication varies depending on the amount of exposure and the individual's tolerance. The effects of DA-023 are similar to those of ethanol, including impaired judgment, slurred speech, and loss of balance.
If the person drinks DA-023, they will experience an infinite hangover that persists until death. The symptoms of the hangover include severe dehydration, intense headache, nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. The hangover symptoms do not respond to any known treatment, and the affected individual will experience them indefinitely until they expire. The cause of the infinite hangover is currently unknown.
Addendum:
DA-023 was recovered from a wine cellar in ██████████, France, after reports of several individuals experiencing severe hangover symptoms that persisted for weeks. Foundation agents investigated the area and discovered DA-023 among several other anomalous objects. Further investigation revealed that DA-023 had been used by a local wine connoisseur as a means of punishing those who attempted to steal his wine collection. The connoisseur, who has since expired due to the effects of DA-023, left behind several journals detailing his experiments with the anomalous liquid.
