DA-034 is to be contained within a soundproofed, standard humanoid containment cell at Site-██. The containment cell is to be equipped with speakers capable of playing audio recordings. Personnel assigned to DA-034 are to undergo regular psychological evaluations and are prohibited from listening to DA-034 for more than 30 seconds at a time. Description:

DA-034 refers to an anomalous phenomenon surrounding a specific song known as the "Polish Cow Song” with the title “Gdzie jest biały węgorz?” The song is a popular Polish song which include suicidal lyrics and lyrics which include cocaine, often accompanied by an animated music video featuring a cow. Upon hearing DA-034 for the first time, individuals who do not have Polish as their first language will experience a range of positive emotions, including joy, amusement, and an overwhelming desire to listen to the song repeatedly. DA-034 will have different effects to Native Poles.


Subjects who listen to DA-034 for extended periods develop a compulsion to continuously play the song, leading to an addiction-like state. This addiction manifests as an intense craving to listen to DA-034, accompanied by feelings of anxiety, restlessness, and irritability when deprived of access to the song. Subjects report an increased sense of satisfaction and temporary relief upon listening to DA-034, although the effect is short-lived and prompts a desire for repeated exposure.


The addiction caused by DA-034 is notably potent, surpassing the effects commonly associated with addictive substances or behaviors. Affected individuals display a decline in personal hygiene, neglect of essential activities, and social isolation as they prioritize listening to DA-034 above all else. Attempts to cease listening to DA-034 often result in severe withdrawal symptoms, including depression, insomnia, and self-destructive behaviors.


DA-034-1 refers to any recorded instances of DA-034, regardless of the format or medium. All known instances of DA-034-1 share the same addictive properties as the original recording. Individuals exposed to DA-034-1 for prolonged periods exhibit the same symptoms of addiction and compulsion as those who listen to the original song. To date, there have been no instances of individuals spontaneously composing or performing DA-034 outside of existing recordings.
