DA-078 - "Electrodermis Pachyderm"

Object Class: Dangerous

Secure Containment Guidelines:

DA-078 is to be contained within a reinforced, electrified enclosure measuring no less than 100 meters by 100 meters. The walls and floor of the enclosure should be constructed using non-conductive materials, with a reinforced steel framework to prevent breaches. The enclosure must be equipped with an automated system to regulate the electrical current and prevent unauthorized access.

DA-078 is to be fed a specialized diet consisting of non-conductive food items to minimize the risk of accidental electrical discharges. All personnel entering the containment area must wear non-conductive clothing and maintain a safe distance of at least 10 meters from DA-078 to avoid exposure to its anomalous abilities.

Description:

DA-078 is an African elephant (Loxodonta africana) displaying several dangerous anomalies. It possesses the ability to generate and discharge high-voltage electrical currents from specialized organs located within its trunk. These discharges resemble lightning bolts and can be precisely aimed at targets up to a distance of 15 meters. The electrical current emitted by DA-078 has been measured to reach levels of up to ████ volts, making it highly lethal and dangerous.

Additionally, DA-078's tusks secrete a potent neurotoxin. The neurotoxin is a fast-acting paralytic agent that affects the central nervous system of any organism exposed to it. The effects of the neurotoxin can range from temporary paralysis to complete respiratory failure, depending on the dosage and individual susceptibility.

DA-078 has shown signs of high intelligence and appears to possess a level of control over its anomalous abilities. It has demonstrated defensive behavior when feeling threatened and has successfully incapacitated or eliminated perceived threats using its electrical discharges and neurotoxin secretions.

Addendum: Incident DA-078-1

On [DATE REDACTED], during routine maintenance, a power surge occurred within DA-078's containment area, temporarily disabling the electrified enclosure. DA-078 took advantage of the breach and escaped from its containment, causing significant damage to the facility. Mobile Task Force [REDACTED] was deployed to neutralize DA-078 and safely return it to containment.

Following Incident DA-078-1, containment procedures have been upgraded to prevent future breaches. Any malfunctions or electrical disruptions within DA-078's enclosure must be addressed immediately to avoid potential containment breaches and the subsequent danger posed by its anomalous abilities.

Research is ongoing to better understand the origins and nature of DA-078's abilities, as well as possible methods for suppressing or neutralizing its dangerous anomalies.
