DA-132

Eyed Lamp: Elevated Risk

Secure Containment Guidelines:

DA-132 is to be contained within a standard anomalous object chamber at Site-█, positioned on an elevated steel pedestal in the center of the room. The containment chamber must remain illuminated at all times with a minimum light level of 4,000 lumens. Backup generators are required to activate within 0.8 seconds of any power failure. Under no circumstances is DA-132 to remain in complete darkness for longer than three consecutive seconds.

Personnel entering DA-132's chamber must do so in teams of no fewer than two. Direct visual contact with the entity's ocular structures is prohibited for periods exceeding thirty seconds.

Description:

DA-132, designated "Eyed Lamp," is a cylindrical metallic light fixture measuring approximately 34 cm in height and 12 cm in diameter. The exterior is composed of darkened steel latticework arranged in repeating diamond-shaped openings. Embedded within each opening is a circular structure closely resembling a human eye socket. While inactive, these structures appear hollow and metallic; however, when DA-132 is illuminated, the cavities produce the convincing appearance of organic eyes observing nearby movement.

The internal light source of DA-132 does not correspond to any identifiable electrical mechanism. Despite repeated disassembly attempts, researchers have failed to locate wiring, bulbs, batteries, or any conventional power system. When activated, the entity emits a pale white glow significantly brighter than the measured electrical output should allow. Infrared imaging has revealed internal temperature readings inconsistent with the surrounding environment, often fluctuating between -12°C and 49°C within seconds.

Observers exposed to DA-132 for extended periods report the sensation that the "eyes" track their movement independently of viewing angle. Video recordings confirm minor positional changes within the eye-like structures between frames, despite no mechanical movement being detected in real time. Personnel working near DA-132 for more than twenty minutes frequently exhibit paranoia, compulsive checking behaviors, and discomfort when standing with their back turned toward the object.

When placed in complete darkness, DA-132 demonstrates significantly more aggressive anomalous activity. Witnesses describe hearing faint whispering originating from inside the structure, accompanied by the appearance of additional eye-like shapes within nearby reflective surfaces. During an incident, a maintenance technician exposed to unlit DA-132 claimed the object "blinked" before all lights in the site simultaneously failed for approximately eleven seconds. The technician later refused to enter any darkened room and repeatedly stated that "it keeps looking even when closed” and was sent for mental evaluation.

DA-132 was recovered from an abandoned residence in ██████, England following multiple reports of unexplained insomnia, psychological deterioration, and the disappearance of the property owner. Investigators entering the residence discovered the object active within an otherwise powerless building. The walls surrounding DA-132 were covered in hundreds of charcoal drawings depicting overlapping human eyes. No trace of the homeowner was ever recovered.
